CLUB LEVEL INTERNATIONAL SPEECH AND TABLE TOPICS CONTEST

On 31st March, 2018, VIT Toastmasters conducted its club level international speech and table topics speech contest in which the members participated enthusiastically. The contest began at 10:30 PM at VGU Seminar hall. The occasion was graced by the presence of our faculty coordinator Mrs. Haseena Shahjahan.

The chief guest was our Div- D Director TM Sangeet Rajoria and the guests of various other clubs. The contest was judged by a panel of four judges who were kept anonymous to everyone except the chief judge.

Firstly; it was Club Level Humorous Speech contest in which the contestants have to present a 5-7 minutes humorous speech on any topic chosen by them. This was followed by the Club Level Evaluation Contest in which the contestant has to evaluate a target speaker’s speech. The duration for that is 2-3 minutes. The results were announced at the end of both the events. Winner and runner-ups got the certificate and trophies but only winner and the 1^st runner-up will be representing the club in Area Level Contest.
