VIT Toastmasters organized its
club's Humorous Speech And Evaluation Contest on 16th September
2014. . Six members participated in the contest and Toastmaster Muskan Bharti
emerged as the winner and qualified to participate in area level
International speech contest. Toastmaster Isha Saxena won
the Evaluation Contest and she also qualified to
participate in the area level contest. Congrats to both of them from VIT
Toastmasters family.

OFFICERS & JUDGES TRAINING PROGRAM IN GURGAON
Members
of VIT TOASTMASTERS,Jaipur, ,attended the
Division C Club Officers Training Program/Judges Training Program at Xl
India Pvt.Ltd, Gurgaon (26th and 27th July,2014). where clubs from Jaipur, Udaipur,
Bhiwadi,Delhi,NCR,Gurgaon and Chandhigarh came together for amazing learning experience.
Members were able to understand more about their officer roles, contest judging
criteria and more about Toastmasters through group activities and sessions like
Know Your Toastmasters, Moments of truth, Distinguish Club Program, Club Online
resources, Club Officers Training Program and Judges Training Program. Faculty
for the training sessions were :

The
Sessions were very informative , Knowledgeable and beneficial for club growth
in session 2014-2015.

ORATION-2014 @ GOA
VIT
Toastmasters participated in Toastmaster’s
International Annual Conference –
ORATION 2014 held in Goa, India from 16 may 2014 to 18 may 2014.
It was
organized by YMCA TOASTMASTERS, Goa
along with local Clubs.
We started with Semi Finals held in National Institute of Oceanography. We had two contest in this session “International speech contest” and “ Evaluation contest” and Contest Chairs Adolfo Castellino, Dixith Pnp, Umesh Agashe and Parag Karve managed the contests well, while the Chief Judges, Chinnappa Nanaiah, Sunil Nair, Biswajit Adhikari Sabari Girish were meticulous in their jobs. Our club member and the qualified contestant Chinoy Pareek participated in International Speech Contest.
We had
inaugural function in the evening, with the Hon'ble Governor of Goa as the
Chief Guest!
The day was over for most with dinner and interaction session with the other clubs.

Day 2 began
with training sessions from Amey Hegde, Sai Prasad & Siraj Syed. Then we
had Evaluation Contest Finals. Contest Chair for finals was LGM Brillian SK and
Chief Judge, Akbar Khan! It was a very well conducted contest and we had a
great experience.
The evening fun night on the cruise was full of enthusiasm and energy held on Paradise Cruise ship.
On day 3: We
started with a fantastic training session by Prakash Iyer and later had the
newly elected officers installed by ID Deepak Menon.
Post lunch,
we had the Awards & finally the results of the contests were declared.
This has been one of the best conferences that we have witnessed under Toastmasters.

DIVISION LEVEL INTERNATIONAL SPEECH AND EVALUATION CONTEST
Division level International speech and
evaluation contest for Area J3, Division J was organised by
Nagarro Software Pvt Ltd in Gurgaon on 13th april ,2014. Toastmasters clubs of Gurgaon, NCR and Jaipur participated in the contest. The contest was graced by the presence of many dignitaries of toastmasters international such as Dist. Trio Prasad Sovani, Reet Arora and SK Brillian, Division Governor Mrs. Pooja Sapra and Area Governor Mr. Anurag Jindal There were two contests held one was International Speech Contest and the second was Evaluation Contest. The whole contest was conducted as joint contest of division A and division J (under which vit toastmaster comes).

TM Yogendar singh stood first and TM chinoy
pareek was first runner up of the contest while for the evaluation contest TM
Akansha Gupta stood first and TM Jaspeet singh was first runner up.TM Shikha Meena of VIT Toastmasters was target speaker and Madam Haseema Shahanjahan was felicitated with bouquet.

senior Toastmaster member from Singapore Mr. Naveen Pawal. There were two
contests held in the event one was International Speech Contest and the second on was Evaluation
Contest.
Neha Atri from TCS Maitre Gurgaon
Toastmasters won and Chinoy Pareek from VIT Toastmasters was the first runner
up in the International speech contest. Whereas for the evaluation contest Neha
Atri was the winner.

CLUB LEVEL INTERNATIONAL SPEECH AND EVALUATION CONTEST

Seven members participated in the contest and Toastmaster Karanveer singh emerged as the winner and qualified to participate in area level international speech contest. VISIT TO INFOSYS ON 25th February 2014
Members of VIT toastmasters visited Infosys campus on 25th February where district president Prasad Sovani and Lieutenant governor marketing Reet Arora conducted various education modules on adding life to your speech and impromptu speech.

CREATIVE WRITING @ VIT - E-Week 2014 - Innovating For India
Creative Writing.
A creative writing competition was organized by VIT TOASTMASTERS at VIT Jaipur in E-Week 2014 - Innovating For India . A jury of 3 dignitaries was placed for judging the event. VIT TOASTMASTERS took part in the creative writing competition. A topic on the spot was given and toastmasters were required to frame an article out of that situation. Each participant came up with new interesting ideas about the situation which was given.
The event wounded up with the prize distribution to the most interesting article. Certificates were given to winners and their efforts were appreciated.

DEBATE on " CHANGE IN INDIA" @ VIT - E-Week 2014 - Innovating For India
Debate on “Change in India”
The event was organized as a part of the ongoing E-Week. The main objective of the event was to nurture the young talents and give their views regarding INDIA and the amendments to be made for a better India, a huge platform.
The competition proved out to be a great success as the participants were extremely enthusiastic in presenting their views. The event was organized by the VIT Toastmasters .

Members of VIT TOASTMASTERS, Jaipur attended Division J Club Officers Training Program/Judges Training Program at Techno NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur (1st - 2nd Feb)- where clubs from Jaipur, Udaipur, Bhiwadi came together for 2 days of amazing learning experience. Members were able to understand more about their officer roles, contest judging criteria and more about Toastmasters through group activities and sessions like Know Your Toastmasters, Moments of truth, Distinguish Club Program, Club Online resources, Club Officers Training Program and Judges Training Program. Faculty for the training sessions were Sumeet S. Miglani, Anjul Hans, Arun Mittal, Rishi Kant, Karanveer Singh, Swaraj Bhatt who conducted detailed informative and interactive sessions.
