Area Level Humorous and Evaluation Contest

A champion is someone who does not settle for that say’s practice, that day’s competition, that day’s performance. They are always striving to be better. They don’t live in the past.

With this spirit of becoming a better speaker and learning more from the outside world. The VIT TOASTMASTER squad left their cage and put forwarded their steps in hope of bettering themselves by competing with other clubs.

Winners and Runner up’s of the CLUB LEVEL HUMOROUS AND EVALUATION CONTEST, from the VIT TOASTMASTERS represented the club in AREA LEVEL CONTEST. Different astonished speakers from various clubs of the area participated in the competition. The competition was so healthy and every humorous speaker made the environment rejuvenating and on the other side in the evaluation contest every participant gave their evaluation in a glorious ways and proposed new ways of evaluating a speaker.

A general meeting was organized in VIT Toastmasters which was initiated by SAA  Tm Rishabh introducing the basic rules of meeting. The meeting had four session. First session was prepared speech session in which speakers were guided from their modules. Second session was Table Topic session in which members got a topic to speak with their instantaneous thoughts. Third session was Evaluation session in which evaluators give their feedback for the speakers guided by modules and Fourth session was announcing the winners(i.e. best speaker, best table topic speaker, best evaluator).Students justified the theme" LIVE YOUNG LIVE FREE" well with active and free delivery of their thoughts in all the four sessions of the meeting.

The meeting was attended by every toastmaster. Every Speaker gave their speeches and rotated well about the theme. Tm Hemant really took a breaking entry in the club. Every role player did his/her job perfectly and at the end evaluators gave feedback to the speakers. Overall  a meticulous meeting ended with splendid start and calm landing with the word of the day meticulous

CLUB LEVEL HUMOROUS AND EVALUATION CONTEST 2016

With this positive thought in mind a Club Level Humorous and Evaluation Contest was organized in VIT TOASTMASTERS. With the spirit of improving themselves each member of the club tighten their belts to defeat the inside demon of them. Speakers with healthy thoughts in mind represented themselves and made everyone laugh with their speeches. Not openly these even in the Evaluation each participants strived hard to enhance their skills.

The contest had four sessions including briefings to the judges, Humorous speech contest, Evaluation contest, Announcement of the winner. In  Humorous speech every speaker rejuvenated the environment of the hall.

After the completion of humorous competition second session of Evaluation contest was organized in which TM Payal was the target speaker and every contestant evaluated her creatively with new ideas.

A general meeting was organized in VIT Toastmasters which was initiated by the Sergeant at arms introducing the basic rules of meeting. President Anand Meena opened the meeting with full enthusiasm and energy. The meeting had four session. First session was prepared speech session in which speakers gave speeches from their  modules. Second session was Table topic session in which members got a topic to speak on their feet. Third session was Evaluation session in which each speaker had evaluated by their evaluators and general evaluator and Fourth session was announcing the winners (that is best speaker, best table topic speaker, best evaluator).  Students with great zest and zeal participated and give au gusted speeches and table topics.

Members were greeted by the club members on completing CC projects and moving forward for ACB’s.

TM Suraj move forward with his ACB 1 explaining Education System,TM Saurabh improved well in his second project. Every role player did his job perfectly and at the end evaluators gave feedback to speakers.

Overall the meeting was of great success in which each student got knowledge about new things.
