CLUB LEVEL INTERNATIONAL SPEECH AND EVALUATION CONTEST

VIT Toastmasters organised its club's International Speech And  Evaluation  Contest on 11 march 2014. . Seven members participated in the contest and Toastmaster Karanveer singh emerged as the winner and qualified to participate in area level international speech contest. Toastmaster Shikha Meena won the Evaluation Contest  and she also qualified to participate in the area level contest. Congrats to both of them from VIT Toastmasters family .

VISIT TO INFOSYS ON 25th February 2014

Members of VIT toastmasters visited Infosys campus on 25^th February where district president Prasad Sovani and Lieutenant governor marketing Reet Arora conducted various education modules on adding life to your speech and impromptu speech.

District President Prasad Sovani taught various techniques on how to improve you impromptu speeches

CREATIVE WRITING @ VIT - E-Week 2014 - Innovating For India

Creative Writing.

A creative writing competition was organized by VIT TOASTMASTERS at VIT Jaipur in E-Week 2014 - Innovating For India . A jury of 3 dignitaries was placed for judging the event. VIT TOASTMASTERS took part in the creative writing competition. A topic on the spot was given and toastmasters were required to frame an article out of that situation. Each participant came up with new interesting ideas about the situation which was given. 
The event wounded up with the prize distribution to the most interesting article. Certificates were given to winners and their efforts were appreciated.

Debate on “Change in India”

The event was organized as a part of the ongoing E-Week. The main objective of the event was to nurture the young talents and give their views regarding INDIA and the amendments to be made for a better India, a huge platform.
The competition proved out to be a great success as the participants were extremely enthusiastic in presenting their views. The event was organized by the  VIT Toastmasters .

OFFICERS & JUDGES TRAINING PROGRAM IN UDAIPUR

Members of VIT TOASTMASTERS, Jaipur attended Division J Club Officers Training Program/Judges Training Program at Techno NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur (1st - 2nd Feb)- where clubs from Jaipur, Udaipur, Bhiwadi came  together for 2 days of amazing learning experience. Members were able to understand more about their officer roles, contest judging criteria and more about Toastmasters through group activities and sessions like Know Your Toastmasters, Moments of truth, Distinguish Club Program, Club Online resources, Club Officers Training Program and Judges Training Program. Faculty for the training sessions were Sumeet S. Miglani, Anjul Hans, Arun Mittal, Rishi Kant, Karanveer Singh, Swaraj Bhatt who conducted detailed informative and interactive sessions.
On 1st Feb, there were three sessions namely Know More About Toastmasters, Club online resources and Moments of Truth. Whereas on 2nd Feb, it was Officers Training and Judges Training Program along with a session on Distinguished Club Program.

150 VIT TOASTMASTERS MEETING CELEBRATION @ NAHARGHAR ,JAIPUR

VIT Toastmasters, club of Vivekananda Institute of Technology celebrated its 150th meeting at Nahargarh Fort on 1st December 2013. The meeting began at 3:30 p.m. The meeting was attended by the Toastmaster club members of VIT, SKIT and various other Toastmaster clubs across India. The meeting conducted has three parts: prepared speeches, Table Topics and Evaluations. Toastmaster Yash jain, Chinoy pareek and Ashish parnami delivered speeches in the prepared speaking portion of the meeting. The Toastmaster of the day was the Vice President Membership of VIT Toastmasters club, Swaraj Bhatt.  Ishank Raisinghani, headed the Table Topics portion of the meeting. He presented the topic to an individual to speak. The evaluation session was conducted by General Evaluator, Karanveer Singh President of VIT Toastmasters Club, to provide feedback to all the members, including the speakers. 150th meeting was organized by Toastmaster Priyanka Mitra, Vice President Education of VIT Toastmasters club.
